Andrea Beccalli
Andrea joined ICANN in 2013 as a member of the Global Stakeholder Engagement Team, in his current role as Director he’s responsible for the south Europe region engagement representing ICANN with the local internet communities, supporting their participation in ICANN and participating in the regional and national Internet policies debates and processes.
Prior to ICANN, Andrea worked for the International Federation of Libraries Association and Institutions (IFLA) in The Hague, Netherlands, for the United Nation Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, France, and for the NGO Internews EU on a policy study on Internet and Freedom of Expression in Iraq.
Andrea obtained a MA degree as Fulbright scholar from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Medford, Massachusetts; he also holds a MA in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute of International Studies and a BA in Political Science from the University of Rome, La Sapienza. Furthermore, Andrea holds Certificates in Negotiation from The Harvard Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School. In addition to English and to his native Italian, Andrea speaks fluent French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Marco Conti
He is a research director of the National Research Council (CNR) and, since September 2019, he is the director of the Institute of Informatics and Telematics of the CNR and head of the .it Registry.
From October 2016 to September 2019 he was scientific advisor of the CNR for the ICT area.
From December 2012 to November 2016 he was the director of the CNR department "Engineering, ICT and Technologies for Energy and Transport".
He has published more than 400 scientific articles, and five books, on computer networks, the next generation Internet, social networks and pervasive systems, data science and distributed AI.
From 2009 to 2018 he was Editor-in-Chief of the Computer Communications journal (Elsevier).
Marta Moreira Dias
She is Member of the Board of Directors at the Associação DNS.PT, which is the responsible entity for the Portuguese ccTLD (.pt) and she is also executive director of LusNIC (Portuguese language ccTLD association), Marta has completed her Law degree in 1994, at the Coimbra University, and has afterwards done her Law internship. Marta has post graduated later in Administrative Law and Administrative Science, at the Lisbon University. In 2018, Marta has done an intensive “Law, Cybersecurity and Cyber defense” course. More recently, in 2019, she has concluded the “Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management” Executive course, at the Portuguese Católica University.
Roelof Meijer
He is CEO of SIDN, the registry for .nl, one of the world’s largest and most successful country-code top level domains.
